Video : American Singer SZA Dance On Stage For Mahashivratri Goes Viral

While Hindu parents, Hindu orgs, Hindu leaders and Hindu temples especially abroad often complain about how they can’t get their children to be proud Hindus by blaming it on anti-Hindu narratives in the mainstream. But they don’t realise that often the problem starts in their own homes, with their imported indian inferiority complex, which makes their version of Hinduism totally cringey and submissive. They should learn from Hindu gurus on how, even going back to the 60s and even further back in time to Swami Yogananda or Swami Vivekananda, to why Hindu spirituality has always been part of pop culture, because in reality, Hinduism has always been ‘cool and hip’ or, in today’s urbo lingo, ‘dope and GOATed’

Grammy Award-winning singer SZA , pronounced siz-uh, was seen at Sadhguru’s Mahashivratri celebrations at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on February 15. Known globally for her music, the American singer-songwriter’s presence at the spiritual event has gone global online. Dressed in a traditional saree, SZA greeted the audience with a warm “Namaskaram, Happy Mahashivratri”! Can I get a Shiv Shambhu?” she said before getting the crowd to dance and join in on the celebrations. She also introduced her mother to the massive crowd, as she chanted and sang “Shiv Shambhu”, blending R&B stardom with devotional energy under the Adiyogi sky during the all-night Mahashivratri celebration.
