Mumbai Police are on high alert after a detailed bomb threat was sent to the city’s traffic police via its official WhatsApp number, sparking a major security response ahead of the Anant Chaturdashi festival. According to reports, the threat message, received on Friday, claimed that 34 human bombs had been strategically placed across the metropolis. It further warned that the city would “shake after the blasts.” The sender, identifying himself as a member of a Pakistan-based jihadi group, invoked the name “Lashkar-e-Jihadi” and alleged that 14 Pakistani terrorists had already infiltrated Mumbai.
