In the aftermath of India’s Operation Sindoor, a retaliatory military strike targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, tensions have escalated dramatically along the India-Pakistan border. Pakistan’s response included heavy artillery and mortar shelling in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, tragically targeting the Central Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Sahib. This attack resulted in the devastating loss of three innocent Sikh lives among other 15 people killed. The shelling, part of Pakistan’s broader ceasefire violation, has also claimed civilian lives and caused significant destruction in border areas.
