Prime Minister Narendra Modi performs Dhwajarohan (Hindu ceremony for hoisting a saffron flag) on the Shikhar-Top of the sacred Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir-Temple in Ayodhya.
As reported, the symbolism of the ceremony represents deeper meanings where,
‘Every kingdom has a flag. Every belief has its flag, and the Sanatan Dharma here in Ayodhya, represented by the Divya Bhavya Navya Ram temple, has the Ikshvaku clan flag going up. The saffron flag of the Raghukul, or Ikshvaku dynasty, features a Kovidar tree, which symbolises a love for the environment. The flag also includes a symbol of the Sun God, representing the Suryavanshi lineage of Lord Ram. The ceremony signifies the temple’s transition to a fully sovereign divine abode.

along with the PM Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, we suddenly see Mohan Bhagwat with a massive potbelly dressed in orange, struggling to walk, looking extremely unhealthy while trying to represent the same Lord Rama with his six-pack abs, wide chest, massive shoulders, muscular arms and legs. Another classic Hindu case of “Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory” which will lead to Hinduphobic Nazis to start ‘see this is RSS fascism, Hindu nationalism, Global Hindutva blah blah blah ‘ in the media the next few months.
PM Modi would have a better PR globally if he had with him the male and female boxers who won gold and other medals recently, and others like wrestlers, martial artists, and other athletes walking with him, looking the part to fit into Sri Rama’s Army. Also, walking with him, gurus from all Hindu sects, along with indigenous pagan holy people across the world like Native Americans, Druids, Hellenics and others who Hindus should be reaching out to tell them this Rama temple is not just a victory for Hindus but all of us ‘Pagans and Heathens’.
Vedic speaker and author Dushyanth Sridhar told NDTV that today’s grand flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Mandir marks an emotional and historic moment for countless devotees. Calling it “a very big day” and “a great moment,” he highlighted the deep cultural and spiritual significance attached to the Dharma Dhwaja being raised atop the Shri Ram Lalla shrine.
