It’s nice to see our pagan brothers and sisters reviving their ancient spirituality to break free from the slavery of the Middle Eastern church. Some of us have done Hindu prayers at Stonehenge for the revival of the indigenous traditions of the UK in the past.
Thousands have gathered to watch the sun rise on the shortest day of the year at the heritage site Stonehenge in Wiltshire. The winter solstice is celebrated every year, with spiritual rituals, singing, dancing and music. Attendees often travel from across the country and abroad in the hope to catch a glimpse of the sun through the prehistoric stones on Salisbury plain.
