Gurus, Swamis, Hindu temples, Hindu organisations, and Hindu activists should speak out against Adharmic crimes like this to educate the masses. Remember also that Hinduism gets blamed for such crimes when it’s not encouraged by any Hindu beliefs at all, but you can see Hinduphobes in comments blaming Hinduism for all this, made worse with total silence from the Hindu side.
Greater Noida Police have arrested four family members, including husband Vipin, in the brutal death of 26-year-old Nikki Payla, allegedly burnt alive over dowry demands. On Monday, her brother-in-law Rohit Bhati and father-in-law Satya Veer were arrested, following earlier arrests of Vipin and his mother, Daya. Police said Vipin was shot in the leg while trying to escape custody. Nikki’s sister Kanchan alleged the in-laws poured inflammable liquid and set her ablaze. Viral videos show Nikki burning and being assaulted. Police booked the accused for murder and conspiracy.

All the twitter handles who were talking about a male genocide in India have gone silent. Did not see a single tweet on this dowry burning by their handles, otherwise i was being tagged and sent links about the terrible condition of men in this country. Sorry to say, but one man committing suicide is more likely because of his own mental disorder not because there is a genocide in this country. Mature up. Misogynist attitudes are still rife in this country, and i say this also out of the experience of being targeted by misogynistic comments from “educated men” on this platform. All marriage related laws in India, Domestic violence laws were created by leftist, feminist and Congress to break Hindu Families. That’s we see cases like Atul Subhash and Dowry death. Such laws must be scrapped. In place of that new laws must be made with Hindu/ Indian ethos and culture that allow Hindu families to flourish. Ancient Hindu law stated that all the man earned had to be given to the wife, as stated in the first vow of Hindu Marriage. Traditional families still follow this. Men do not handle money, they earn. And some of the wealthiest men i know do the same. This means, if he left or divorced, he went with nothing. There is nothing called dowry, it is stree dhan. All gifts belong to the girl. Let’s not blame everything on “women” again whether leftist or not. Men need to mature up and take responsibility for their bad behaviours. When i was growing up, tv was full of ads showing how to save burning girls. People were never taught – do not burn girls. This is a result of that mentality. It was the same dowry laws that were put in place that reduced the dowry burnings. Peoples mentality only changed for the fear of punishment.-Neena Rai
