With the rise of racism against Indians, along with Hinduphobia on the increase it’s time for Hindu temples and organisations to raise these issues to the masses and organise ways to tackle this problem, which is going to get even worse yet.
On Monday evening in Waterford, a 6-year-old girl named Nia was brutally attacked in what appears to be a racially motivated incident. Her parents, Anupa and Naveen, bravely speak out about the terrifying experience. Also joining the conversation is Dr. Ebun Joseph, founder of the Institute of Anti-Racism and Black Studies, who provides insight into the rise of racism in Ireland. This deeply emotional interview sheds light on the challenges immigrant families face, the need for justice, and the urgent call for systemic change in how hate crimes are addressed.
