The RSS, which recently encouraged beef eating for social harmony, again angered Hindus for referring to the Hindu victims killed in Kashmir as ‘tourists. Dr Elst called them out for this official tweet.
“The heinious act of terror attack on tourist in pahalgam of Jammu & Kashmir is highly condemnable and heart wrenching. We pay homage to deceased and pray for early recovery of the injured in this attack. This is an attack on the unity and integrity of our nation. All political parties and associations should rise above their differences and condemn this terror act. Government should ensure all required relief and assistance to the affected families and ensure appropriate punishment for the people responsible for this attack”. You pay homage to the victims, Mr. RSS bigwig? No, you don’t. You conceal the reason why they were killed. They weren’t killed as “tourists”, they were solely killed because they were *Hindus*. But you are a “Hindu”-phobe, dead afraid of pronouncing the word “Hindu”.- Koenraad Elst
