Norway’s largest top newspaper, Aftenposten displayed a typical historical Hinduphobic racist cartoon showing the Indian PM Narendra Modi as a Snake charmer playing a flute to ‘charm’ a snake shaped like a fuel pump nozzle during his diplomatic visit to Oslo, with the headline: “A sneaky and slightly annoying man” by Journalist Frank Rossavik some baldy white ‘Aryan’ race as the Nazis also saw fellow Norwegians as.
This is one of the classic historical racist portrayals of Indians, especially Hindus, as snake charmers, which these types of klan of whites from the left to the right in the West still indulge in, as it’s hard to see those same Hindu pagan savages emerging from the Temple of Doom, turning India into a powerful rising economy and with spirituality expanding across the world which is why these attacks present attacks were part of a larger agenda when a ‘highly civilised’ European journalist Helle Lyng asked Modi ‘Why don’t you take questions from the freest press in the world?’ but was not offically part of the visit.

But we who are Western-born know very well this is all rooted in racism and religious hate going back to colonial times and further, which is why Hindus probably face more racism and religious hate than any other community, but it’s justified under the ‘Freest Press In The World’ syndrome.
You can see it even with most anti racism groups, they never mention the extreme racism, especially Hinduphobia, which you won’t even find mentioned on their websites, but they actually ignore or join in with groups and their colonised brown Gunga Dins as masks to attack Hindus speaking up for their rights as being ‘Hindu nationalists or Hindu extremists’.So the racism and religious hate are much deeper than as expressed with this snake fuel pipe charmer photo of PM Modi. Not only were Indians outraged, but also other whites, who also called it out as pure racism. Norway’s PM even called out the journalist, asking Helle Lyng to respect Indian Democracy.
