The Sri Venkateswara Temple in Cary, North Carolina, was damaged after a sacred guardian deity statue was vandalised. The incident happened around 3 a.m.. Police are reviewing CCTV footage and searching for five suspects captured on the security camera footage. Community leaders strongly condemned the act and showed support for the temple. The incident has raised concern among local Hindu residents and religious groups while authorities continue their probe. But again, this is a whole long series of attacks on Hindu temples along with the rise of the Hinduphobic hate, not just by the right-wing Christians and also Khalistanis and Islamists, but also the left-wing secular lobby who spew hate against Hindus under politically correct terminology.
Still, as some American Hindus have complained to us over the years and also recently, saying these American Hindu orgs that they give donations to, instead of calling for mass rallies in public over Hinduphobic issues, just send an email or a tweet to the political representatives to end up making no difference, as hate crimes against Hindus are increasing all the time. Which is true because every other community goes public with mass rallies and protests, like we are also seeing with Iranians in the US protesting presenty but the Hindu community hardly calls for mass protests, which is why they are not seen as important but seen as weak, so the hate against Hindus is normalised.
