PM Narendra Modi arrived in Egypt’s Cairo for a two-day State Visit on June 24. Egyptian PM Mostafa Madbouly received PM Modi at the airport. PM Modi also inspected a guard of honor upon his arrival. Indian diaspora overwhelmingly welcomed PM Modi at the hotel. He interacted with members of the Indian Diaspora and Egyptians present at the hotel. PM Modi was mesmerised by a song ‘Yeh Dosti Hum Nahi Todenge’ sung by the Egyptians. PM Modi is scheduled to visit the 11th century Al-Hakim Mosque during his visit. He will also visit Heliopolis War Grave cemetery to pay tribute to Indian soldiers who lost their lives during World War.
