Video : The SwamiNarayan’s Paris Controversy : Time To Kick Out Misogynists And Patriarchy ?

With the recent Hindoo tomfoolery of the RSS, led by that clown Mohan Bhagwat, visiting New York run by another clown, Mayor cringe smile Madani, the entertainment continued when BAPS SwamiNarayans were accused of wanting invisible women at the Eiffel Tower in Paris during their visit, leading to a strike the next day by female workers.

But BAPS has denied making any demands to have no women present because being invisible means they are still there, but they can’t be seen. Maybe also part of their scriptural curriculum includes Ralph Ellison’s Invisible Man. 

So in response to the backlash, BAPS released a statement noting: “To the best of our knowledge, at no point was anyone prevented access to the Eiffel Tower. Nevertheless, we sincerely apologise for any pain or inconvenience caused.”

 The operating company of the monument, SETE, also acknowledged that the conditions should not have been accepted, and Paris city authorities opened an investigation into the matter. 

So Was It A Set-Up?

Well, with France’s long Hinduphobic history going back to shorty pants Napoleon, as explained in this French Hinduphobia Goes Back To the Time Of Napoleon, then to the present, we have Christopher Jaffrelot, a French Goebbelsian Hinduphobic academic who still gets a red carpet welcome in post-colonial India, so it’s possible to also be a set-up. But hopefully the investigation to be revealed in a new Pink Panther sequel will have Inspector Clouseau leading it to uncover the evidence.

But meanwhile, the Hinduphobic media are loving it, which is why they keep on repeating ‘Hindu’ like a mantra in all their reports about this controversy, because it’s a well-known strategy to turn ‘Hindu’ into a negative trigger point in the subconscious, so automatically when ‘Hindu’ is mentioned you think of Mola Ram and the thuggees in oversized baggy colonial khaki RSS shorts as your filter of judgement to then automatically accuse the Hindu heathen pagans as ‘guilty’. 

But when it comes to Islamists, then suddenly it becomes ‘Asian ‘, like the grooming gangs or anything positive rooted in Hinduism, it becomes ‘South Asian’.

But back in frog-leg-eating France, the political class, starting with French hard-right leader Marine Le Pen said: “In France, we will never accept that the presence of women be ‘limited’.” While ‘liberal centrists’ like Yaël Braun-Pivet, the president of France’s National Assembly, said: “I refuse to allow women to be compelled to step aside to meet the demands of foreign visitors,” 

We are sure that, as it spreads further, left-wing feminists across the world will also join the Hinduphobic lynch mob.

All we need then are self-proclaimed ‘proud leftist feminists’ like Stella Creasy, a top Labour MP who was celebrating a gender-segregated Muslim event recently, along with New York Governor Kathy Hochul, who was wearing a hijab at a local mosque, against those ‘Misogynist patriarchal Hindus’, because hypocrisy by ‘leftist’ whites is often a white supremacist trait, where they go quiet when brown-skinned women are faced with violence and death for not covering up or are even killed in their 100s of thousands by the mullah regime, like in Iran.

Still, that doesn’t excuse it if ‘Hindus’, especially the religious leaders, are involved in misogynistic, patriarchal practices which do go against Hinduism, which is why, apart from some, most criticism has also come from Hindu spokespeople and influencers who criticised BAPS by accusing them of misogynistic history and calling them out for this ‘pseudo-Hinduism ‘.

When so-called celibate ‘monks’ or anyone else blames women for going into a re-erecting the Eiffel Tower mode, then it shows their own inner weakness, which they need to control themselves, as Hinduism is very clear that celibacy has to be within your own private space and mind.

And this is not to be dictated to the outside world or to see and blame women as negative distractions; otherwise, it can also have the opposite effect, where you don’t have any control within yourself but end up in a situation like that of a monk named Neelkanth Swami from another sect of the Swaminarayan Vishwa Mangal Gurukul near Saijpur, Gujarat, who often visited prostitutes and later was secretly filmed by individuals who later attempted to blackmail the sect for 100s of thousands of rupees.

Upon being notified of the blackmail attempt and the recordings, the temple trustees immediately dismissed and expelled the sadhu from the gurukul before cooperating with the police to apprehend the blackmailers. So you can’t blame women for that behaviour. 

Which is why, once at a Hindu conference in London years ago, some SwamiNarayan Swami had come to give a talk, and suddenly all the Hindu female students there were told to go far at the back so they couldn’t be seen. The females, mostly 2nd gen like us, got angry; we also protested for them, saying that if you can’t control yourself, then dont blame the women, as this is not Hinduism, and then we walked out of the conference with many of the Hindu girl students and other males. 

So Are Women A Major ‘Maya’ Obstacle When It Comes To Being Spiritual?

In short answer, of course not, as India is also known as Bharat Mata, or “Mother India,” the personification of India as a Mother goddess and a face of Dharma- righteousness the natural law and moral harmony that keeps the universe balanced to why even the Indian rivers are seen as feminine from Ma Ganga to Ma Yamuna to Ma Saraswati and many other rivers are part of humanity’s forgotten spiritual land, where the sacred feminine is still preserved in her many forms, along with her many temples, while the rest of the world lost it due to a misogynistic male ego reflected as a one God. 

Unfortunately, even within Bharat Mata itself, a few cracks in seeing women as Maya obstacles seem to have appeared far back in history after  Adi Shankaracharya took on Buddhism’s expansion across India; he seems to have picked up Buddhist influences, where nothing really exists according to his interpretation of Maya through his Advaita Vedānta where the manifested world is a dream-like illusion, separating the transcendent Absolute from dynamic reality, and where women are part of this Maya trap.

This is why Sri Aurobindo was a strong critic of this escapist mindset, calling it “refusal of the ascetic,” arguing that the historical distortion of Advaita Vedanta deeply dismisses the universe as māyā (illusion) or a practical error or some spaghetti code causing the Matrix to fool the spiritually inclined.

As Krishna reminds Arjun, Sri Aurobindo also stated that the world is a real, evolving expression of the Divine, not a cosmic falsehood to be escaped, which is why he further criticised the distorted interpretations of Advaita Vedanta for reducing women to Maya (cosmic illusion), 

He argued that by equating the feminine principle—manifested as Prakriti, Nature, or women—with a corrupting, deceptive trap that lures seekers away from the Divine, traditional ascetic systems degraded women and robbed them of their spiritual dignity, which damaged India’s social and spiritual fabric.

For Sri Aurobindo and Hindus like us, real Hinduism rooted in true spirituality does not mean fleeing from the world into a quietist Nirvana or Moksha. Instead, it requires bringing the divine consciousness down into matter to divinise earthly life, where he views the sacred feminine as shakti, the dynamic consciousness-force of the Divine that creates, sustains, and transforms the universe, which is why Krishna tells Arjun to take the blessings of the Goddess before going into battle for Dharma.

So it’s not surprising why great Hindu warriors like Shivaji Maharaj bowed down to Goddess Bhavani to be blessed before going into battle, but along with male warriors there were many great brave Hindu females, who were ready to die like in the case of the legendary instances of Jauhar mass self-immolation, when on innumerable occasions Hindu women chose their own destiny rather than fall into degradation and slavery, from 1303 in the Siege of Chittor to 1757 when thousands chose their own fate in the sacred waters of the river Yamuna in the face of the Afghan invasion. 

But unfortunately, many gurus from other sects have also turned Maya into escapism from the world, which is what many Hindus are told: it’s all Maya- illusion- so no need to take action so accept being 3rd-class citizens in India while your temples are robbed by the government because its all ‘Maya’. When Hindus are killed and raped, it’s all ‘Maya ‘, so no need to do anything.”

Basically, if your house is on fire, so no need to use the hosepipe in front of you or get buckets of water or call the fire brigade to put out the fire, as it’s all Maya, and you are paying the karma bank loan; so instead, just meditate doing nothing, and you get killed; you are finally liberated with Moksha was never the body either, so the karma bank loan is paid off, but be careful if the karmic bank manager is Miss Maya, as you might end up in a karmic bank loan debt forever.

Then this mindset got even worse, where Neo-Hindu groups like SwamiNarayans and others, that were created during British colonial times, used a church framework, which is why they claim to be monotheists; women are a distraction, along with pushing Brahminphobia, and even started claiming they aren’t Hindu by abusing other Hindu gods until they get attacked or need donations; then they suddenly become Hindu.

Even the RSS, created during colonial times, has never had a woman leader, as most RSS members are supposed to be celibate, so women are a distraction. Which is why this celibacy mindset, propagated by groups like BAPS and others, who think that being spiritually advanced means keeping women at a far distance, needs to be questioned and debated by Hindus, as this can also lead to misogyny and patriarchy, and overall it doesn’t make sense from a true Hindu perspective when you go back in history.

We have also seen the deliberate false accusations about the Manu Smriti being patriarchal by the colonised brown turds known as Gunga Dins, even though the Smritis are not holy books. Which is why all Hindu temples, including BAPS, who are famous for their beautiful temples across the world, should include permanent exhibitions of past and present persecution of Hindus, and also have statues and paintings of great Hindu warriors, male and female, where many of these women also led armies to protect Hinduism. That’s how you make the Hindu identity stronger.
