Khalistani terrorists from the banned group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) targeted two Hindu temples in Canada’s Brampton and Surrey on April 5, days after the House of Commons passed Bill C-9, a new anti-hate measure aimed at protecting places of worship. The SFJ terrorists organised rallies outside Triveni Mandir and Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, framing the protests as opposition to the Hindu Canadian Foundation. Police intervened early, setting up barricades and enforcing 100-metre safety zones. Past SFJ events have turned violent, raising concern among Hindu groups.
