Recently, well-known YouTube political commentator and stand-up comedian Jimmy Dore @jimmy_dore , while reacting to President Trump’s false claims about a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, mocked the Indian side’s reaction to Trump’s comical claim.
With a smirky face, he showed a clip of Indian journalist Arnab Goswami‘s @ArnabGoswamiRTv emotional reaction to it. JD lacked any sensitivity to the real reason for the anger and emotions from the Indian side, when even Arnab mentions Palagham, where 26 innocent people were killed in cold blood by Islamists, basically for being mostly Hindus, along with a Christian, and including a muslim who tried to help.
And this is not the first time Hindus have been killed there, but even last year, including among 10 Hindu pilgrims, a two-year-old child was killed, and further back in time with many more have been killed there with kashmiri indigenous Hindus massacred, raped and ethnically cleansed out of Kashmir.
Once the clip ended, JD then starts talking in a funny indian accent to sarcastically mock Arnab’s accent and what took place while claiming all the anger is about India and Pakistan being referred to as being equal.
The indian accent is often made fun of, especially by racists. Some of us who had to deal with racist violence face to face know how they would put on a funny style indian accent to insult and degrade you.
Dore, like many in the West, suffers from the Mola Ram syndrome popularised by the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, where basically indians, meaning Hindus, are just subhuman pagan uncivilised savages sacrificing people to Kali Ma, which is nothing new as this syndrome is rooted in a long history of hate against Hindus in the US going back even to the times when Swami Vivekananda and Swami Yogananda arriving there with headlines like the “Heathen 
Invasion Of America back” in 1911 or “Hindoo Immigrants Have Hookworm Disease” 1910 along with much more where even in present times the rise of Hinduphobia in the US, killings of indians students are regular.
This preaching down to India has gone past its sell-by date and is just a rotting stench which many of these self-appointed experts the left and right, who need a bath, should face up to, as India is emerging as a global power on all levels.
This Hinduphobic hate narrative, which the religious right wing churns out as satanic, evil, demonic Hindus, then goes through a Politically Correct filter where the same Hindus are classed as ‘Hindu nationalists,’ far right Hindu supremcists and global Hindutva by the Left wing. It’s the same racist and religious Hinduphobic narrative in different wording, which is being exposed more and more.
Others, like media studies professor Vamsee Juluri, from USF, have also called JD out.
NO, @jimmy_dore what every Indian & @republic TV host Arnab Goswami are mad about isn’t that Trump “made India & Pakistan appear like equals.” TWENTY SIX men were massacred in Pahalgam by terrorists- & you just grin like a racist jackass & mock his accent?? – Vamsee Juluri.
If Jimmy Dore wants to be fair, then he should hear the Hindu side of the debate, and invite Hindus like Professor Vamsee Juluri and others to talk about recent attacks including the rising hate against Hindus in the US otherwise JD comes across like those class of whites who think India is some Indian reservation camp in America somewhere.
