KEMAH, Texas – A Dairy Queen owner is making headlines for airing his anti-Hindu beliefs at his business.
On Highway 146, a large sign in front of a Dairy Queen boasts the owner’s anti-Hindu sentiments.Mohammad Dar, a Muslim, says that it’s wrong for people to follow a religion – something man-made rather than a set of beliefs, or laws.
“They may look human but they are acting like monkeys,” said Dar.Customers doubt the sign is good for business.
At the Sri Meenakshi Temple in Pearland, no sign is going to stop them from their way of life. The temple serves thousands in the Houston area. Anyone from any faith background can attend.
Dar doesn’t plan to take the sign down for now but he might have to after he sells his business. There are plans already in the works.
